Update 3/3
Update 3/3: Juliana enjoyed about a week and a half at home before getting readmitted on Friday to start the 2nd round of chemo. Her bone marrow biopsy showed only 1 in 10,000 cancerous cells, which means she should not need a bone marrow transplant. The 2nd spinal tap was still clear—no concerns with spreading to that area. Her treatment has been going well so far. She’s feeling good and has not been fevering—thank goodness and knock on wood. They changed the meds around somewhat, which may be helping avoid the symptoms, or the symptoms just haven’t set in yet. The doctors are monitoring her heart with Echocardiograms to make sure those levels don’t become a concern, which can result from the chemo.
